Good Hire vs Great Hire
Context is everything. A good hire and a great hire often look the same on paper. The only way to tell them apart is to understand your business well enough to know the difference. That's how we find the right person, not just someone who looks right in a resume.

Our Promises
Our Promises
We only bring you conversations worth having
Your time is the scarcest thing you have. Most recruiters flood your inbox and hope one profile lands. We do the opposite: every candidate we send has been screened, vetted, and understood in the context of your team. If we're not sure they're worth an hour of your time, they don't reach you.
We treat your brand as our own
For most candidates, their first sense of your company comes through us. So every call, every email, every small interaction carries weight. When we represent you, your reputation is ours too.
We move fast, but we never rush
The best hires can't be rushed into place. We've watched founders chase speed and pay for it two quarters later. So we move quickly where we can, and carefully where it counts - because the real cost of a wrong hire isn't the weeks lost, it's the momentum.
We play the long game
We work like we'll be your hiring partner for years - because we plan to be. We won't talk up a weak candidate to close a fee, even if waiting costs us. We'd rather earn the next ten years than the next one.
We own our misses
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we own it, fix it, and move on - no excuses, no burying it. You'll always know exactly where you stand with us.
We'll find the one
Not "we'll try." Not "we might." We will. Sometimes it takes longer than anyone hoped. Sometimes the right person turns up somewhere no one thought to look. But we don't stop until they're sitting across from you.
Recruiting isn't a software problem. It's a people problem.
Our team uses software that helps us source faster, screen better, and understand context deeper. You'll never see it. What you'll see is the result: better candidates, delivered faster, with more insight.
What you get is a recruiter who actually understands your business, and candidates chosen for you specifically - read by a person, not ranked by an algorithm.
Our Process
A search only works when the groundwork is right. Here's how we run one.
Our Process
A search only works when the groundwork is right. Here's how we run one.
We start with a kickoff
We start with a detailed call with you, the founder, to understand your company and the person you're really after. Then we go deeper with the hiring manager - the exact role, what "great" looks like here, and what didn't work about the last few hires.
We define the role properly
Next we build the JD - sharp, not broad. If it's too loosely defined or the comp is below market, you'll hear it from us. We back that up with our own market research - how the best companies structure the role, and what they actually pay.
We deliver signal, fast
Within 72 hours, you get your first slate - fewer candidates, each with real context on why they fit. Because of the depth we put in upfront, three out of every four candidates we send typically make it to interview.
We stay close and keep going
If the first slate isn't the one, we send a fresh batch every three days, guided by tight feedback loops - one line on why beats a plain yes or no. We stay close to the candidate experience throughout, and don't stop until your hire is signed.
Operationally, we keep it simple: your ATS + a shared Slack channel. This works best with responsive teams and candid feedback.
We treat candidates like your future team.
You pay us - but we treat every candidate with the same honesty and care we give you. That's not just the right thing to do. It's how we protect your brand.
Talent is scarce, and timing rarely lines up. The person outside your budget today might be easily affordable after your next raise. Someone who isn't right now could be exactly right in six months.
So we never push a candidate into the wrong role just to close a search - because how they're treated becomes how they talk about you. Most recruiters treat candidates as inventory. We treat them as people building careers, and as the talent pool you'll keep hiring from for years.
